Clinic Terms and Conditions
1. General
By booking an appointment or purchasing a treatment at Darras Hall Laser Clinic (the "Clinic"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all consultations, treatments, and products provided.
2. Patient Consultations & Suitability
Patch Tests: All laser treatments require a mandatory consultation and patch test at least 24–48 hours prior to the first session. We aim to complete the patch test as part of the consultation.
Suitability: We reserve the right to refuse treatment if a practitioner deems it unsafe or unsuitable for the client.
Medical Disclosure: Clients must provide a full medical history and disclose all medications. The Clinic is not liable for adverse reactions caused by withheld medical information.
3. Appointments and Cancellations
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of total value is required to secure all bookings. This will be deducted from the total treatment cost and is payable at consultation.
Cancellation Policy: We require at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or fail to attend (No-Show), the deposit will be forfeited.
Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time or cancellation, with the full fee still applicable.
4. Pricing and Payments
Price Changes: All prices are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be
honored.
Course Payments: Courses of treatments must be paid for in full upfront (unless a financing plan is agreed upon) to qualify for discounted rates.
Refunds:
Services: We do not offer refunds on treatments already performed.
Courses: Unused sessions in a pre-paid course are non-refundable but may be transferred to credit for other treatments at the Clinic’s discretion.
Products: Skincare products are non-refundable once the seal is broken due to hygiene reasons.
5. Course Expiry
All courses of 6 sessions must be completed within 12 months of the purchase date.
All courses of 8 or more sessions must be completed within 18 months of the purchase date.
Any unused sessions after this period will be forfeited without a refund.
6. Treatment Results and Expectations
Variability: Laser hair removal and skin treatments are medical procedures. Results vary significantly between individuals based on hair type, skin type, and hormonal factors.
Guarantees: While we aim for the best possible outcome, the Clinic provides no guarantee of "100% hair removal" or specific skin results.
7. Client Obligations (Pre & Post Care)
Clients must strictly follow the Pre-Treatment (e.g., shaving the area, avoiding sun exposure) and Post-Treatment (e.g., applying SPF, avoiding heat) advice provided.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in skin damage or reduced efficacy, for which the Clinic will not be held responsible.
8. Privacy and Data Protection (GDPR)
We collect and process your personal and medical data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Your data is used solely for treatment records and, with your consent, marketing. It will never be sold to third parties.
You have the right to request access to your records at any time.
9. Liability
The Clinic’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the specific treatment that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by the Clinic’s proven negligence.
10. Complaints
We aim to provide the highest standard of care. If you are unhappy with your experience, please contact the Clinic Manager in writing at [Email Address] within 7 days of your treatment. We will investigate and respond within 14 working days.
Age Restriction: Clients must be 18 or over.
Sun Exposure: If a client arrives with a tan that makes treatment unsafe, the session will be cancelled and the fee forfeited."
